Lucas Dillon
Lucas Dillon’s artistic journey began with his skateboard in the ‘90s, drawing inspiration from the grungy stickers, graphics, posters, and hidden album artwork treasures that defined his childhood in Belfast. These early influences are still evident in his work today, where his charcoal drawings feature quirky, distorted versions of Walt Disney sketches, and youthful mascots crafted in clay, charcoal, and paint, all seemingly ready with creative excuses for not doing their homework. You might recognize Dillon’s work from his time at Yoboh Studio, where he created coveted street-inspired graphics for Nike and Converse.
In this section we introduce artists whose mindset and approach resonate with us—people we enjoy collaborating with and whose work continues to inspire our program. These positions are not part of our formal representation but reflect ongoing exchanges built on trust, respect, and a natural creative connection. All projects are developed in close coordination with the artists and their representing galleries.
Friends of the gallery is our way of championing both our close collaborators and the artists whose work continues to inspire us.
