We are excited to showcase a new body of work of danish-born artist Thorbjørn Bechmann. The exhibition takes place at the Backyardarchive X Galerie Tassilo Usner showroom in Vienna.
The title of the exhibition hints at a paradox: the deeply felt yet unknowable nature of both painting and perception. What does it mean to feel something without fully grasping it? What is the role of intuition in artistic creation and reception? Bechmann’s works hover in this ambiguity, offering compositions that are both deliberate and spontaneous, structured yet fluid.
