We are excited to announce “5 Minuten Sonne,” Ida Jesenberger’s first exhibition with the gallery.
“I painted the entire body of work in my studio in Linz, Austria, this winter. Preparing for this show was a very intense time for me. Looking back now, the weather, the lack of sunshine, and the overall atmosphere of the city definitely influenced my work.”
In her paintings, Ida Jesenberger explores questions of perception, identity, and the psychological inner world. She is particularly interested in the tension between what is visible on the outside and what is experienced on the inside — between self-image and external perception, between inner chaos and external form.
The artist was born in Vienna in 2004. She lives, studies, and works in Linz, Austria.
“5 Minuten Sonne” is her first exhibition with the gallery, following her debut at Parallel Vienna last year.
